HOW WE WORK
We coordinate our Small grass-root groups with NGOs, other foundations, organizations, Donors, Volunteers, and various governmental funding opportunities to get revolving funds for borrowing and running their small income-generating activities.

  • Get contributions from the organization's members
  • Get contributions from the small grass-root partner groups within the location and sub-location.
  • Get donations from well-wishers, Donors, and Volunteers
  • Get contributions from sons and daughters of Mfangano and Sister Island
  • We have good support from partner NGOs
  • We have good support from governmental funding agents.                                                                                                                      how we spend the funds received                                                                                      All the funds we get are spent to support :
  • maintaining and/or improving the wakinga Low cost community health center
  • maintaining and/or improving Wakinga community water project
  • needy and vulnerable school going students education
  • Mfangano and sister Islands endangered girl child education
  • refurbishing and/or building  new school classrooms
  • buying schools furniture
  • putting up school fences
  • Empowerment of Women and Youths in the communities
  • small scale registered communities grass-root groups
  • Local organic and perm-culture gardeners/farmers and fishermen
  • putting up and or improvement of local health facilities
  • Local environmental initiatives
  • running our general communities' projects                                                                                                                                                                                                     Modalities
  • We pay four years of school fee  to needy and vulnerable students 
  • We assign relative caregivers, buy personal effects, provide food and pay school to endangered, needy and vulnerable school going girl child
  • all assets to be put up are done through our office together with technicians and only handover the completed  assets to the institution and the certified supportive documents to the Donor 
  • To Women, Youths, farmers, fishermen, and Communities' registered groups, we offer Revolving funds to be borrowed by individual group members for their small scale income-generating activities
  • We support less fortunate households and the aged by donating food and refurbishing or putting up new residential houses.
  • We educate, monitor and donate free tree seedlings to farmers every year in the month of April for planting in their farms to help to keep our Islands greener.
